About the project

The BMW Showroom project aimed to create a digital experience that reflects the premium quality of the brand. The focus was on enhancing user engagement and optimizing the sales journey through innovative design elements.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was to translate the premium in-store experience into a seamless digital environment that would captivate users and drive conversions. This involved developing a user interface that was both visually appealing and functionally efficient, ensuring a smooth and engaging user journey.

My role

As UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for the design phase of the project:

• Established motion guidelines and principles to ensure a smooth and intuitive user interface.

• Defined key components and interactions to ensure a cohesive user experience.

• Managed the Sketch library to maintain consistency across design elements.

• Developed motion design elements to enhance user engagement.

Process

The design process began with defining the core components and interactions that would form the foundation of the user interface. I then developed a comprehensive motion design strategy, creating guidelines and principles to ensure consistency and enhance user engagement. Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure the design vision was accurately implemented and aligned with the overall brand identity.

Outcome

The redesigned showroom successfully reflects the premium quality of BMW, providing users with an engaging and seamless digital journey. The incorporation of motion design elements and a cohesive user interface contributed to an enhanced user experience, leading to positive stakeholder and user feedback in user testing.
